Help Desk Technician

Plexcity, a shared back office services company, has an immediate opening for a Help Desk Technician. The successful candidate will administer the initial, 1st tier technical support response to clients and Plexcity staff support requests; provide the initial review of tickets to ensure sufficient information is provided, triage requests, taking ownership of all requests for validation, and work towards resolutions based on priority.
The work environment is fast-paced and the candidate must be able to manage a high volume of requests of varying priorities with limited direct supervision. Strong customer services skills, an aptitude for problem solving and strong written and verbal communication skill with varied audiences is required.
Three years' experience providing hands-on setup, installation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution with end user resources and services including computers, printers, monitors, network connectivity, and related software and drivers is required. In addition, two years' experience providing administrator level support in active directory related to creating and managing user accounts, managing resource access and permissions.
Working knowledge of typical business technology resources and concepts including networks, servers, wireless access, internet access, websites, Microsoft Office, Adobe, IP Addressing, USB, Windows OS, Windows Server OS, Active Directory, PST Files, Office 365 Cloud Services is preferred.
A BS in information systems, or computer science a must. Must have at least 5 years working in a high tasked IT Department.
